Representing America’s Best Whitewater

The West Virginia Professional River Outfitters Association (WVPRO) is an organization dedicated the profession of whitewater outfitting and to the protection and conservation of the rivers that support our livelihood. Our members are outfitters on the New and Gauley Rivers which host over 150,000 guests each year.

WVPRO serves as the “voice of the industry”, providing a vehicle for promotion, training and development, leadership on special projects, and as the primary liaison between our regulatory agencies and our members.

West Virginia whitewater outfitters are recognized nationally as the whitewater industry’s “benchmark” for innovative and professional river outfitting. Visit us and find out for yourself why we call it “America’s Best Whitewater”!
